Jordan Henderson has been a divided figure among the Liverpool fanbase for the majority of his career at Anfield.
This season has been a difficult one for the club captain as he has had to fight for a spot in Jurgen Klopp’s XI.
The midfielder had an impressive campaign for club and country in 2017/18, but since the new season began, he has only started eight matches in all competitions for Liverpool.
With the summer additions of Fabinho, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri, it appears that manager Jurgen Klopp is still unsure about what his best midfield is.
On Wednesday night against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, the German coach selected Henderson in the centre of the park alongside Georginio Wijnaldum and James Milner, but as a result there was a lack of creativity.
Unsurprisingly, Henderson took the brunt of the criticism after the team’s 2-1 defeat at Parc des Princes, which means that their progression into the last 16 is dependent on their final group match against Napoli.
This whole fight against Henderson and Brexit is real, we cant shut up anymore. LFC need justice. Even our rivals cant understand how some of our players last this long.

Henderson doesn’t have that mentality to captain such a big club, honestly he’s not running into open forward spaces always passing back, doesn’t even dominate the position he’s in. His long balls are abysmal no where near Steven Gerard’s level #LfC

Shanks would have probably had Henderson spinning in his grave by now

No agenda but Henderson when his time with LFC is finished will be judged by many as not only lucky to play for club bu most limited Captain. Really good professional & top lad but sadly lacks quality required for top club like LFC. Useful Squad player to have at best imo

And another thing on Henderson, any captain worth his salt would’ve been in the face of that referee to get a grip of their antics but he wasn’t, beacuse he like the rest of the team are too soft #LFC
