It could be way to early to expect highly of Jurgen Klopp but it would be safe to say that he is the Messiah Liverpool have been waiting for since the reign of Luiz Suarez.
The thrill that was the Liverpool-Man City match on Saturday was just an example of what Klopp’s influence would result to. Let us not forget that this is the same team that Rodgers was in charge of.
Some could say that it is too soon to speak of Klopp’s success at Liverpool, but his philosophy has worked magic back in Borrusia Dortmund, who gave Bayern Munich a run for their money, and even winning the Bundesliga on a number of occasions.
The manner in which Klopp uses his players, the physicality he urges them to employ is an approach any football club in Europe could find useful in overpowering their opponents.
On a different note, Phillipe Coutinho seems to have returned to his perfect best after being overshadowed by Sterling, Suarez and Sturridge’s presence in Liverpool’s line up. His combination with Roberto Firmino, Liverpool ripped Man City to shreds, and this could only reflect Klopp’s impact at the club so far.
The Premier League is up for an interesting showdown this season, now with the presence of Klopp, the fight that Chelsea are involved to get back from their current pathetic form, as well as the unexpected table toppers, Leicester City.
Plenty games will happen over the December period and this only means that the table will only be changing even further.
Lets wait to see who will be top in January…
