Lucas Paqueta has been one of a handful of names linked to Liverpool ahead of the January transfer window.
The Flamengo youngster has had a positive rise up the ranks after making his first-team debut in 2016.
In total, the 21-year-old has made 57 appearances for the Brazilian outfit, scoring 12 goals and creating five assists.
It seems, though, that any association with Liverpool was unfounded as the London Evening Standard claims that the club have no interest in making a January move for Paqueta.
In fact, it appears that the young talent is on the verge of signing for AC Milan, with Goal.com quoting Flamengo director of sport Carlos Noval as saying that a deal could be struck in two weeks.
Some Liverpool fans have taken to Reddit to post their thoughts on the latest reports.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s Premier League title campaign remains on track as they currently sit third in the table, on level points with leaders Manchester City and second-placed Chelsea.
