Not everything revolved around football when the Liverpool squad landed in Boston to continue their 2019 pre-season tour with a game against Sevilla.

Granted the defeat on the night would not have felt good, but the Reds did more than just kick the ball while they were the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.

Ian Rush, one of Liverpool's legends who accompanied them on the trip as their ambassador, shared a video that was filmed by Liverpool TV and showed them visiting a children's hospital in Boston.

It was truly a great moment and a huge gesture from the club that was also well received on

Of course, the Reds did not arrive empty-handed as they visited a total of four wards across the hospital.

Rush, Linda Pizzuti Henry and mascot "Mighty Red" brought some Liverpool goody bags for the children, posed for photographs and signed some autographs along the way.

Undoubtedly, they made some of the kids' days, too.
