The second leg of Liverpool's Champions League last 16 tie with Porto at Anfield was a formality after thrashing the Portuguese outfit 5-0 in the first match.

The match ended 0-0 but the main aim for Jurgen Klopp's Reds was escaping from the match unscathed ahead of Saturday's crunch clash with bitter rivals Manchester United.

Flying left-back Andy Robertson as well as midfield duo Jordan Henderson and Gigi Wijnaldum are carrying injuries ahead of that match between second and third in the Premier League.

We've had a look at when Klopp might expect the trio to recover, as per PremierInjuries.

Gigi Wijnaldum

Georginio Wijnaldum liverpool celebrates

When was he injured?: He has not been in the last three matchday squads for the Reds as he recovers from illness.

Potential return date: 10/03/18

Would he be missed against United?: His energy in midfield is always an asset in the big games but Liverpool have not lost any of the three games he has missed. The summer arrival of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain means that his absence isn't the major loss it would have been last season but it is a miss.

Jordan Henderson

Jordan Henderson liverpool calls for ball

When was he injured?: He picked up a dead leg in Tuesday night's stalemate against Porto, which didn't force him off at the time but may put his participation in Saturday's huge match in doubt.

Potential return date: 10/03/2018

Would he be missed?: Going into such a massive game without their captain wouldn't be ideal for Liverpool. They still lack a disciplined holding player but Henderson alongside Emre Can is as secure as it gets. Paul Pogba is not on top form but a Reds side without Henderson may give the French superstar the space and time he needs to influence the game.

Andy Robertson

When was he injured?: Robertson was left out of the squad for Tuesday's match with Porto as he is carrying a knock. It would appear that he picked it up in the last Premier League match against Newcastle, but it didn't force him off in that one as he completed the full 90 minutes.

Expected return date: 10/03/18

Would he be missed?: Robertson's form has been blistering in recent months and he would be a huge miss against United. He has been a key part of tightening up the Reds defence and the thought of Alberto Moreno against Jesse Lingard, Alexis Sanchez or Juan Mata will worry their fans. Klopp needs him back for Saturday.
