Liverpool keen to press ahead with move for Brazilian star after scouting mission

Liverpool are keen to push ahead with a summer move for Paris Saint-Germain’s Lucas Moura this summer after being wowed by the winger during a scouting mission to watch him in action against Chelsea, according to reports from Mercato365.

The 23-year-old has been with the Ligue 1 giants since the summer of 2012, and despite winning much silverware in that time he’s largely failed to make himself a key man in the Parisians’ star-studded squad.

And reports claim that Liverpool’s interest has been piqued after they watched him in action as PSG knocked Chelsea out of the Champions League earlier this month.

Moura is known for being an enigmatic talent, yet there are some doubts as to whether the French side will sell given that Zlatan Ibrahimvovic is set to leave on a free transfer this summer.

However, PSG are eyeing Lyon’s Nabil Fekir and Hatem Ben Arfa of Nice, who could be direct replacements.

Should Moura join the Reds, he’s become the latest Brazilian import on Merseyside behind Lucas Leiva, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino.
