Liverpool lining up £10.8m move for Wijnaldum teammate after £25m capture

Fresh from the £25m capture of Newcastle United ace Georginio Wijnaldum, Liverpool are ready to pounce for a second Dutch international, according to Soccer News

The Reds are believed to retain an interest in PSV Eindhoven defender Jetro Willems in an effort to cure their left-back woes.

Leicester City ace Ben Chilwell is understood to be in talks over a new deal with the Premier League champions, despite links with a move to Anfield.

As a result, Jurgen Klopp is said to have cast his eyes over the 22-year old, who is thought to be open to the idea of a move to Merseyside.

The Dutch champions reportedly value the Oranje ace at around €13m, which currently equates to roughly £10.8m.

Alberto Moreno, the current incumbent of the Reds’ left-back berth, has failed to wholly convince since his move from Sevilla two years ago.

Willems has 20 caps for the Dutch national side and has won two Eredivisie titles with his current charges.
