Liverpool lining up former Chelsea boss amid Rodgers doubts

Liverpool have already contacted Carlo Ancelotti with a view to drafting in the experienced Italian should they sack Brendan Rodgers, according to reports from CalcioMercatoWeb.

The Reds’ Northern Irish boss is now winless in his last four Premier League games following a 1-1 draw with newly promoted Norwich at Anfield on Sunday, which has increased the scrutiny he’s under after the club’s below par 2014/15 campaign.

Sections of the Merseysiders’ fan base are already calling for change, with ex-Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp a popular candidate, but reports claim that Ancelotti has already been approached.
