Although Cristiano Ronaldo has a incredible scoring record of 34 goals in 24 games so far this season, Liverpool loanee Iago Aspas may just be better in front of the net than the Real Madrid superstar.
When comparing the stats of the current Sevilla man based on his goals per minute ratio this season in all competitions, Aspas has netted once every 71 minutes, while Ronaldo has only managed to score every 72 minutes.
Even if we look at the likes of Barcelona’s attacking duo of Lionel Messi and Neymar, the Spaniard again comes out on top!
Messi has netted every 82 minutes while his teammate Neymar has a scoring record of a goal every 87 minutes.
Based on this, the world’s most lethal scorer is on-loan after from his side, a squad that may very well be on top of the Premier League if Aspas was in their ranks. Well, maybe!
Now all they can do now is sit back and think about what could have been…
