Liverpool on transfer alert for Real Madrid ace

Liverpool have been alerted by suggestions that Jese Rodriguez may look to leave Real Madrid this summer, according to reports from Metro.

The 22-year-old has been a somewhat peripheral first-team figure at the Bernabeu in recent seasons and played just 533 minutes of La Liga football last term.

And now reports claim that he’s grown concerned about his role at the club, with the introduction of new manager Rafa Benitez having done little to allay his fears.

Jese is set to seek assurances surrounding his role, and he could opt to move on if not promised regular action.

Liverpool could benefit from having the young Spaniard to call upon, with the attacker able to play on either flank or as a ‘No.10’.

As it stands, Real’s stance on Jese is unclear, however they may only consider a loan deal for the player, who has long been tipped for a bright future.
