Liverpool pip Arsenal to sign Yan Dhanda

Liverpool young talent Yean DhandaLiverpool have pipped Arsenal in the race to sign West Bromwich Albion’s 14-year-old talent, Yan Dhanda, whose skills have made quite an impression on the internet.

Liverpool’s newest wonder kid was signed by West Brom after being spotted in an Asian Soccer Star talent competition.

The young midfielder greeted the news with great excitement as he uploaded a couple of photos of him wearing the Liverpool gear and writing: “The start of something new!!! Look forward to this season!” He also tweeted: “Dreams really do come true”.

Liverpool continue targeting young talents as two years ago they signed 16-year-old Jerome Sinclair, from the Baggies as well, who made his first-team debut on a League Cup game last year against his former team.

According to the Daily Mail, Dhanda is of Asian background, loves to wear the Number 10 on his back and idolises Juventus’s midfielder Andrea Pirlo.

His videos, showing him playing for the Albion, have got more than 117,000 views on YouTube and has now more than 8,000 followers on Twitter. His skills have also attracted commercial giants Nike who are sponsoring him.
