Liverpool are plotting a double raid on Fiorentina for duo Giuseppe Rossi and Mario Suarez, according to the Metro.
The Reds had previously been linked with former Atletico Madrid dynamo Suarez while he plied his trade in the Spanish capital, though he ultimately moved to Italy earlier this summer.
Reports suggest he could arrive on loan in order to bolster the ranks in manager Jurgen Klopp’s engine room, as club captain Jordan Henderson has suffered injury problems.
Former Manchester United youth prospect Giuseppe Rossi has been linked with a move to Tottenham in recent seasons, though the Italian striker is another to have seriously been effected by injuries issues.
Still, both are said to be extremely likely to leave La Viola this winter after falling out of favour with the Serie A outfit.
Current first choice Liverpool forward Christian Benteke has come under fire after failing to wholly convince he is the right man to lead the line.
