Liverpool reach unbeaten milestone

Jurgen Klopp has certainly got the best out of his Liverpool side this season, leading the Reds to joint-top of the Premier League alongside Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea, and the statistics are overwhelmingly positive.

Excluding a blip against Burnley, Liverpool’s campaign has been near-perfect thus far across all competitions and they sealed their place in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup last night with a 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

That result, which puts last season’s League Cup runners-up just three victories away from a return to Wembley, continued a superb run of form for Klopp’s side- which rivals in the league will struggle to better.

Liverpool are now unbeaten in their last ten games in all competitions, winning eight, and the Reds will be confident of continuing that record in their upcoming matches against Crystal Palace and Watford.

Klopp’s side will find out their opponents for the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup this evening following the showcase class between rivals Manchester United and Manchester City but, on the form they’re on, Liverpool will fancy their chances against any opponent.
