The Wales midfielder has thoroughly impressed at Euro 2016, helping his country reach the semi-finals, but looks set to leave Anfield during the summer window with his contract due to expire at the end of next season.
Former employers Swansea City are looking to re-sign the 26-year-old, who originally rose through their academy ranks before making his first team debut in 2007, and have already tabled an £8million bid.
But according to The Daily Mail, the Welsh club’s offer has already been knocked back by Liverpool, who value Allen at £6million more.
And they’re also said to have turned down a £25million bid from Crystal Palace for striker Christian Benteke.
The Belgian battering ram is also heading towards the Anfield exit door following an underwhelming maiden campaign on Merseyside, but Liverpool want to recoup at least £30million for their flopped signing.
