Serbian youngster Marko Grujic is set to undergo a medical tomorrow as he aims to complete his move to Liverpool, according to the Daily Express.
The 19-year old midfielder is expected to put through his paces as the Reds look to ensure the £5.1m deal can be ratified.
He is a highly rated prospect in his homeland, having drawn comparisons to compatriot Nemanja Matic through his displays with Red Star Belgrade.
The deal looked to have snagged when the teenager’s father reportedly opposed his switch to Merseyside, though everything now appears to have been ironed out.
The deal will mark the first official incoming transfer of the Jurgen Klopp era following his appointment at Brendan Rodgers’ successor back in October.
However, he will not link up with his new Reds teammates right away and is widely expected to remain in Belgrade on loan until the end of the current campaign.
