Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva is edging closer to a shock loan switch to Inter Milan in January, according to talkSPORT.
The Brazilian has struggled for game time under Brendan Rodgers this season, much to the frustration of the Liverpool faithful.
And the 27-year-old is now eager to go in search of regular football in next month’s transfer window, with Serie A giants Inter a possible destination.
It is believed Lucas has already opened talks with Inter Milan, while rumours suggest he has also had offers from South America.
Inter boss Roberto Mancini is eager to strengthen his squad in the new year and has put Lucas at the top of his wish list.
