Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina is content to stay at the Merseyside club for years to come despite rumours linking him with a summer move away.
Reina has had an inconsistent season between the sticks at Anfield and has come under intense scrutiny for individual errors costing the Reds vital points.
The Spanish stopper feels that Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has the club moving in the right direction and he hopes to be part of the Reds side for a long time.
Reina has praised Rodgers and his impressive tactics, claiming that the pair have a lot in common when it comes to how football should be played.
The former Villarreal goalkeeper has been at Anfield for six years now and has seen managers come and go annually but he claims his relationship with Rodgers is very good.
Reina is also happy at being more involved in the team when it comes to keeping the ball on the floor and passing it out from the back.
“My relationship with the manager is very good,” Reina told ESPN.
“We have got a lot in common – tactics and the way we see football is similar.
“I am very happy with our manager. He’s making sure we are learning every day the way to win and that’s important.”
“There’s no doubt I am more involved with my feet than before – but so is the team. The amount of passes in every game is higher compared to last season.
