Roberto Firmino has developed into a crucial star for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool after initially struggling to settle following his arrival from Hoffenheim in 2015, and the Brazilian has been in a reminiscent mood on social media.
The 25-year-old recalled his career debut seven years ago for Brazilian side Figueirense, which marked the start of a journey that has seen the South American move to Anfield after four years in the Bundesliga.

Firmino is set to hit 50 Premier League appearances for Liverpool this season and boasts 13 league goals for the Reds – which is a very decent return statistically. Prior to this, he had 38 goals in 140 Bundesliga appearances for Hoffenheim.
The Brazilian has also featured 12 times for his national side, scoring five goals, but is yet to win a career honour at club or international level, something he’s sure to hope changes with Liverpool this season.
The Reds currently sit third in the Premier League, level on points with leaders Manchester City and Arsenal, and Klopp’s side face a tough test this evening against Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup.
