Liverpool supporters have taken to Twitter to react to rumours linking striker, Daniel Sturridge, with a loan move to Inter Milan.
It is reported that the Serie A club have made an approach to sign the English forward on loan for the remainder of the season.
Daniel Sturridge has been displaced as Liverpool’s starting striker for a lengthy period of time, with Roberto Firmino’s impressive form in the iconic red shirt.
The 28-year-old has been a pit-part figure for the Reds having only scored three goals in 14 games for Liverpool this season. He also failed to make a meaningful impression for the Reds last season having only scored seven goals in 27 games for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Twenty-four of the 63 goals that Sturridge has scored for Liverpool came in the 2013-14 season where they came agonisingly close to concluding their wait for a Premier League title.
Here’s how Liverpool supporters reacted to the rumours of his potential departure on Twitter…
Needs to score to do that

I don’t want Sturridge to go unless it’s a sale mainly because if any of our front 3 get injured he’s the only one who could slot in ( when fit ) to any position, I’m probably in a minority but it does make sense, top 4 etc

He is never fit bro. He is too weak to apply klopp’s gegenpressing

I might be wrong, but if we allow Sturridge to go, haven't we lost our two top scorers that we had in the squad for LFC mid season?

Watch him turn into 2013 Sturridge as soon as he steps foot in Italy.

Man, if at the minimum @DivockOrigi isn't recalled, let alone a new player (or two – sorry dreaming) isn't signed. Really don’t know how the second half of the season will be for #LFC, with all banking on Salah, Firmino and Mané.

Sell Sturridge, he is not going to be favoured or played anyway!
Selling two players in one window should bring new players, and I'm convinced we will!#LFC
Malcom and late bid for Lemar would be lovely!
