Liverpool are in desperate need of three points tomorrow against QPR. The Reds have endured a difficult start to the season, and another slip against a side sitting at the very bottom of the division could see their top four hopes dealt yet another early blow.
So a tactical move from Brendan Rodgers is needed. It looks like he has some plans up his sleeve… and we know this because his No. 2 has revealed them! Colin Pascoe has confirmed that his side are looking to get at the Super Hoops early doors, in a bid to mirror the stunningly fast showings produced last season. Facepalm.
“We always say ‘start quickly and move the ball quickly’.
“We’ve got pace at the top of the team and it’s about moving the ball quickly and trying to get in behind them.
“Last season we did that a lot, coming out of the blocks.
“The way teams are sometimes set up, they are not so deep.
“But this year they seem to be a bit deeper and we are trying different things to accommodate that.”
