Cristian Tello has hinted that he may leave Barcelona in the future to secure regular first-team action.
Liverpool have been linked with the 22-year-old Spaniard on multiple occasions during the past few years, but have failed to secure a deal for his signature.
A loan move to Anfield was mooted over the summer, but Barca opted to retain Tello, despite having a wealth of alternative options in the attacking third.
The youngster is known to have set his heart on regular playing time, however he faces a genuine battle to make it onto the field of play due to being in direct competition with Lionel Messi, Neymar, Pedro, Andres Iniesta and Alexis Sanchez.
With just six La Liga outings under his belt this term, Tello has hinted that he may look to leave the Nou Camp unless he is granted more opportunities.
“Right now I am very happy, but next year we’ll see,” Tello told talkSPORT.
“Every year I’ve felt more integrated into the team, more mature, but then every year you want to play as much and when the season ends we’ll see what suits me best.
“[I want to be] playing as much as possible but I know who I have in front of me. But hey I’m ready to play it all if needed.
“I know that I can perform at the top, but that’s the coach’s decision. He has to choose between all of his options.”
Brendan Rodgers is thought to be a fan of the attacker, and may look to secure a deal for his signature in January.
