Kai Havertz is definitely among the biggest talents currently playing on the footballing stage.

After all, it's take a special talent to attract interest from seven major clubs across Europe, including the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Liverpool, as per reports coming from Bild (via Metro).

The same source states that the young talent has a £111m price-tag on his head, such is the extent of the demand for his services.

Havertz has already contributed 54 goals and assists combined for Bayer Leverkusen despite being just 20 years old and he can only get better with time.

But what have the people who know him best had to say about his incredible talent?

Let's find out...

Maurizio Sarri, current Juventus manager

Bayer Leverkusen clashed with Juventus in the Champions League and Sarri was the first to immediately recognise Havertz as one of his opposition's most lethal players.

Before the clash in Turin, the Italian manager even proclaimed the 20-year-old could go on to become one of the most important players in Europe as a whole.

Here's what he said in full, as per Daily Mail's quotes:

"He is a player who combines excellent physical qualities with great technical skills. At the moment they are using him mainly as an attacking midfielder behind the central forward or as a winger.

"I think he is a complete player that could also play as a midfielder. He is a player born in 1999... with those qualities and with that personality it makes you think it is certain he will become... one of the most important players in Europe."

Matthias Sammer, Bundesliga icon

Sammer was well ahead of the curve with his recognition of Havertz's talents as he lauded the now 20-year-old as an extraordinary talent well before the big European teams started fighting for him.

After the youngster scored an incredible goal against Nuremberg earlier last year, Sammer was full of praise.

He said for Eurosport, as per Bundesliga.com:

"It was world-class. He's an extraordinary player. Anyone who can recognise situations like that is something special – and he's something special."

Jonathan Tah, Bayer Leverkusen player

His teammates probably know him best, though, and the 23-year-old Tah was quick to tell everyone how good Havertz actually is.

When speaking to Bundesliga.com, the Germany international even stated that there is basically no limit to his friend's talent and that he could very well be aiming for the top in the near future.

Here's what he said in full while speaking on the kicker meets Dazn podcast, (via Bundesliga.com):

"In terms of his talent, there's no limit.

"I think if he keeps working hard and doesn't rest on his laurels, he can make it to the very top."

Verdict

It seems that Liverpool could have some competition for the young talent but if the words of all those people are anything to go by, it would be worth fighting to secure his signature.

Havertz looks like the next big thing in football and Jurgen Klopp should better not miss out on this opportunity.
