The French strike sensation that Liverpool are rumoured to be after, Alexandre Lacazette, scored his 20th goal in 21 Ligue 1 matches as Lyon made easy work of Lens in a 2-0 away win earlier today.
Lacazette is believed to be open to a move from Ligue 1 and is quoted in the Daily Mirror as saying:
“Between England and Spain, I don’t have a preference. I dreamt about Barca when I was little, but once you grow up you know you cannot be on just one club. I will not be leaving for the sake of it, I have medium and long term aims, after that we will see what is best for me.”
A price tag of £15m has been put on the forward which has not diminished Liverpool’s interest in the player. Brendan Rodgers’ side’s struggle for goals has been well-documented this season with the departure of Luis Suarez and injury to Daniel Sturridge.
