Lazio midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has hinted at a January transfer to Liverpool, according to reports in Italy.
The 21-year-old Nigerian international has been heavily linked with a move away from Serie A and Liverpool are reportedly seriously interested in bringing him to the Premier League.
And Onazi insists he would find it very hard to turn down a move to Anfield should an offer come in next month.
He told Supersport: “If the opportunity to go to Liverpool presented itself to me I could not say no.
“We’re talking about a big club, and I’ve always wanted to play in England.
“The transfer window hasn’t opened yet, and there will be a lot of offers from all over the world but it’s a complicated situation.”
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is eager to strengthen his side after a disappointing start to Liverpool’s season.
