It has so far been a quiet summer at Anfield, with no incomings to speak of. If today's transfer roundup is anything to go by, however, that may soon change. We bring you a bid for a Portuguese international, a star man rejecting a move away from the Reds and interest in yet another Southampton player.

Fernandes bid

Portugal's Correio Da Manha is reporting that Liverpool have made a bid for Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes. The offer is reported to be in the region of €45m (£40.2m). Many clubs are interested, but Jurgen Klopp's team are the only side to so far lodge an offer for the player.

Salah rejects move

According to the Mirror, Mohamed Salah has rejected the chance to leave the Reds this summer. The report says that both Real Madrid and Juventus were lining up bids for Egyptian, but the former Roma man has decided to stay in the Premier League. That situation may change in 12 months, however.

McCarthy on Radar

Liverpool are interested in Southampton's Alex McCarthy according to the Mirror. With Simon Mignolet set to leave Anfield this summer, Klopp needs a back-up to Alisson, and will look at making a move for a 29-year-old shot-stopper, who the club have been linked with in the past.
