Liverpool youngster Sheyi Ojo has attracted interest from Aston Villa ahead of a potential loan switch, according to BirminghamLive.

What's the word?

The 21-year-old has been a Red since 2011 when he joined the club's academy from MK Dons.

After making his senior debut four years, Ojo has been sent on loan three times, the most recent of which was to Fulham.

The winger played at Craven Cottage last season, and has previously worn the shirt of Wigan Athletic and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

According to BirminghamLive, Villa have now turned their attention to Ojo after failing to land Yannick Bolasie from Everton.

The publication claims that Liverpool are keen for the winger to leave and gain more experience.

What should Ojo do?

The England Under-21 international is at an age where he needs to be playing regularly if he wants to make it at the top level.

Ojo is not ready to break into Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool team, but if he has a successful loan spell elsewhere, then he should be knocking on the door.

Other young prospects, including Ben Woodburn and Harry Wilson, have left Anfield on temporary deals to gain some much-needed experience.

In order to keep up with them and attract the attention of Klopp, Ojo should move to Villa and hopefully earn enough minutes to make an impact.
