Oh Dejan Lovren, what would we do without you?

Most importantly though, who would stand idly by while Gareth Bale scores worldies?

Dejan Lovren watches on as Gareth Bales nets incredible CL final goal

Now, don’t get us wrong, the Croatia international is a Champions League winner and World Cup finalist with over 50 caps and over 170 appearances for one of the biggest clubs in the world, so we don’t care to knock him too much.

Lovren looks on as Bale scores for Wales

The Real Madrid superstar certainly has a knack of scoring wonderful goals, and unfortunately for Lovren, he has now been on the receiving end of that twice.

We can almost hear Simon and Garfunkel’s Sounds of Silence playing in the background while watching Bale give the Reds defender flashbacks of the 2018 Champions League final defeat. Sorry Dejan.
