It has been one beautiful ride at Liverpool for Georginio Wijnaldum. But also one filled with ups and downs, as is usually the case in the top-flight.
Three years ago, the Reds signed the 28-year-old midfielder from Newcastle United and the rest is, as they say, history.
One Champions League trophy and a lot of sweat and tears in the Premier League after, and Wijnaldum is already on his third year as one of Jurgen Klopp's troops.

The Dutchman also stated that his dream did come true once the Reds became the champions of Europe and he also thanked the club for believing in him.

But Wijnaldum gave more than just a decent return to the Reds since joining. In a total of 139 games, he has scored 13 goals and assisted 16.
But probably the most important ones came against Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final when Liverpool did the impossible. The Merseyside squad came back from a 3-0 deficit with two goals coming from the 28-year-old midfielder.
It was a night he'll probably never forget, and neither will their fans.
