Liverpool’s signing of Harvey Elliott was one of the most interesting transfers of the summer, but it very quickly turned into one of the most controversial.

Within weeks of his arrival, a video emerged of the teenager mocking Harry Kane for his speech impediment.

The video was accompanied by some rather derogatory language that is often used to mock disabled people.

The youngster went on to offer a public apology for any offence the video may have caused.

The whole ordeal seems to have made Elliott grow up a bit, and he’s now beginning to do some positive things for his local community.

Elliott’s latest Instagram snap shows him doing some great work with the kids from the LFC Foundation.

While the 16-year-old’s leaked snapchat may have been widely offensive, it’s great to see him making positive steps in trying to redeem himself.

As he's only 16, it’s tough to hold any of his actions against him. At that age you still have a lot of growing up to do, but it seems as though Elliott has learnt from his mistakes and he’s now getting to work on making a positive impact.
