Jurgen Klopp can now rest easy: his team are through to the next round of the Champions League.

At times during their match in Austria, it looked like RB Salzburg could cause an upset - they had six shots on target in the first half, after all - but as soon as the Reds bagged their first goal, there was only going to be one winner, and Mohamed Salah put that beyond doubt just 100 seconds later.

It was Naby Keita who scored the first goal of the match for the Anfield outfit. The Guinea international now has two strikes in his last two matches, and he is finally beginning to look like the player they spent £48m on in August of 2017.

The 24-year-old was only making his sixth start of the campaign last night, with just one of those coming in the Premier League.

Of course, it will be his attacking contribution that will stand out here, and with good reason. His goal was a well-taken header from Sadio Mane's cross, and it was one of three shots he had during the match, as per SofaScore. He also made two key passes, whilst he completed all four of the dribbles he attempted, as well.

Going the other way, though, he was just as impressive. He won a huge eight out of the 12 duels he contested, whilst he also made three tackles. Add onto that one clearance, and you are looking at a rounded performance from the 24-year-old.

Real Reds will get full marks: Take the ultimate Liverpool quiz below...

Whilst Liverpool have picked up wins at a stunning rate, there have been problems at the back. In 25 matches so far this season, they have kept just five clean sheets. Interestingly, though, the former RB Leipzig man has started three of them, with two coming in the last two matches.

Many will concentrate on that extra attacking threat, but it is also his defensive solidity that deserves credit. If Liverpool can keep more clean sheets, than it truly is hard to find any weakness in this side at all. Out of nowhere, £37.8m-valued Keita - as per Transfermarkt - may have just become one of the first names on Klopp's teamsheet.

Meanwhile, Liverpool fans react to one incredible stat that details their stunning form.
