Liverpool will face Everton tonight as they look to consolidate their place at the top of the Premier League.

It is a good time for the Reds to face the Toffees. The latter are currently 17th in the table and are just two points above the relegation zone. Marco Silva is still in the job as it stands, but he is under immense pressure, and a defeat at Anfield could see him relieved of his duties.

Still, although the Goodison Park team are struggling, this is a local derby and, as such, they will be looking to upset their rivals' momentum. Jurgen Klopp, therefore, must get his team selection spot on.

Here, we try to predict his starting XI for the match.

In goal, the 52-year-old boss will be forced into a change. Alisson was sent off against Brighton last weekend, and that will mean that Adrian will take his place. When the Brazil international was injured earlier on in the season, the former West Ham shot-stepper stepped into the breach and did well. He was even the hero in the UEFA Super Cup final against Chelsea, saving Tammy Abraham's crucial penalty to win the trophy for his team. Klopp will be hoping he can have a similar impact here.

The back four should be the same as it was against the Seagulls. Trent Alexander-Arnold was in impressive form in that clash, picking up two assists, and he is likely to line up on the right of the defence, with Andrew Robertson on the opposite flank. At heart of the backline, Virgil van Dijk - fresh from his second place in this year's Ballon d'Or - and Dejan Lovren should keep their places.

There could be a change in midfield though. Fabinho's injury means that Jordan Henderson will likely have to move further back into midfield as he did on Saturday, whilst Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain should keep his place slightly further forward. Alongside him, Milner could come back into the team at the expense of Georginio Wijnaldum. The Netherlands international did not look at his best in his last apperance, picking up a SofaScore rating of just 6.7, which could see him miss out.

In regards to the front three, there are unlikely to be any changes. Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are amongst Klopp's most important players, and he will be hoping that they can do the business for him in front of goal this midweek.

Meanwhile, this one key battle could decide the big match.
