Marcus Rashford is one of the most polarising figures in football at the moment.

In the eyes of many Manchester United fans the striker is a terrible player who belongs nowhere near a big club, yet, if recent reports are to be believed the 21-year-old is being targeted by Barcelona as a potential option to replace Luis Suarez.

It’s rather baffling to see Barcelona targeting such an out-of-form striker to replace one of the best goalscorers of the past decade, and ESPN’s pundits believe that the Spanish champions would be better off looking at Roberto Firimino, who they apparently aren't interested in.

Shaka Hislop believes that the Brazillian would be the much better option, as he says that Barcelona’s choice should be a simple one.

It’s really hard to disagree with Hislop on this one too, as Firmino has outscored the Man Utd forward for the past three seasons.

It remains to be seen whether or not Barcelona move for either of the strikers, but we have to question the Catalan scouts if they truly believe the England youngster is a better option than the Liverpool man.
