Liverpool are interested in signing Sunderland youngster Luca Stephenson according to The Sun.
The 15-year-old is the latest in a line of Sunderland academy talents after Jordan Pickford and Jordan Henderson made it to the big time.
According to the report, it will take Liverpool £500,000 to sign the young midfielder who has been dubbed the new Jordan Henderson.
The youngster will likely join the U23 squad and will sign a professional contract when he turns 17.

By all accounts, Stephenson looks like he could be a top player for years to come and the Reds will be pleased if they can snap him up at such a young age.
