When James Milner suffered a hamstring injury against Manchester City prior to the international break, many thought that the midfielder would not play again until November.

However, according to The Mirror, the 32-year-old has already recovered and could make the first XI against Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

It is a testament to Milner's fitness as the midfielder has played in every single Premier League game this season.

When manager Jurgen Klopp added Naby Keita and Fabinho to the middle of the park in the summer, many assumed that Milner would take a back seat.

That turned out to be far from the truth as he has proven that he remains a crucial component in the team.

It is unclear whether Milner will start in Liverpool's first game back after the international break, but plenty of supporters have praised his fitness on Reddit.

Others, though, believe that the former Man City star should be rested.
