Liverpool have recently been linked with a potential move for Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski in this summer’s transfer window.
Lewandowski is enjoying another fine campaign for Bayern, finding the back of the net on 35 occasions in 39 appearances in all competitions.
Lewandowski will turn 31 in August, but will certainly feel that he has another three or four years left in a top European league.
Liverpool have been credited with an interest in the Poland international.
However, it would be fair to say that the majority of the Merseyside club’s supporters are not interested in a swoop for the prolific forward.
Their reaction is a touch surprising, but a number have urged their team to look elsewhere in this summer’s transfer window.

No need we cannot pay £70m for an old player. We didn’t sign Obayeng at 28 why should we buy a player at 31 instead of younger talent. It’ll be senseless investment

A 31 year old for £70m who has never been tested in the Premier League? No thanks

Wouldn’t touch Lewandowski with a barge pole, man is finished no thank you.? I would be stunned if Klopp goes back for him at this stage of his career. I want Luka Jovic or Memphis??⚽️? #LFC #RedOrDead https://t.co/y6MNQRJxMR
