Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to lambaste Divock Origi, following the 2-2 draw against Shrewsbury in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp's men surrendered a 2-0 lead to end up drawing against the League One side, meaning that there will be a replay at Anfield between the two sides.

A goal from Curtis Jones and an own goal from Donald Love put the Reds ahead, but two second-half strikes from Jason Cummings pegged the Merseysiders back.

In Origi's case, he was almost non-existent.

The Belgium international had just one shot on target and registered zero key passes, while completing just 63.6% of his 22 passes - he made fewer passes than any other Liverpool player who started the match.

Also, Origi had a huge five unsuccessful touches and was dispossessed twice, whereas he also ran offside once - the former Lille man also embarked on zero dribbles in what was a disappointing display from him.

Let's see what the Liverpool fans on Twitter were saying about his performance...

To kick off the reaction, this supporter with the username 'The Kopinion' said that Origi "needs to have a good look at himself" and that the forward "can't afford to waste opportunities to impress" like he did against Shrewsbury.

Elsewhere, CL Collins said that, if the Belgian never started another game, they'd "be fine with it" before mentioning that he "offers nothing from the start".

Another fan named Carl said "how many more chances is Klopp going to give him" before suggesting that "maybe the penny is dropping" - whatever that could mean.

Meanwhile, @Humza_lfc said that the 24-year-old has "no excuse really" and that they were "pretty embarrassed for him" - scathing words indeed.

Lastly, these two supporters also took aim at the striker.

One fan said that Origi's performance reminded them that the No.27 "needs to make way for a better quality of player next season" for the Reds to "move forward as a club" - slightly dramatic, in our opinion.
