Liverpool’s win against Bournemouth last night secured them a spot in this season’s Capital One Cup semi-final.
With Chelsea, Tottenham and Sheffield United the other three teams already in the draw, Reds fans across the globe were praying for a tie against the easiest of the three sides.
But they ended up getting the hardest tie of the lot, drawing Chelsea. The Capital One Cup draw was done by Graeme Souness and Jamie Redknapp – both former Reds stars.
And, as Redknapp picked out Liverpool’s ball, confirming them as Chelsea’ opponents, Souness gave him the death stare to end all death stares.
