Proof that Liverpool rebel is staying?

Liverpool this afternoon revealed their new 2015/16 home shirts – outfield and goalkeeper. However, this is not the full story, with Raheem Sterling picture very much at the forefront of the marketing move.

American sportswear giants New Balance are the makers of the Reds’ new strip, and among the host of big name stars Sterling was very much present – unlike Mario Balotelli – despite his contract issues… Could this be proof he’s staying? Maybe, as why would the club want their new images to be emblazoned with a player who may well not wear the kit next term? That would be a major source of embarrassment for the Merseysiders.

On the kit subject, Liverpool’s 2015/16 effort looks pretty smart – it’s remarkably similar to some leaked images – with a two-tone red used to create a slightly chequered pattern. Meanwhile, Simon Mignolet will wear a smart black jersey. Lovely.
