Liverpool face Manchester United on Sunday as they continue their quest for a first league title in 30 years.

The Reds have been in far better form than their fierce rivals so far this term - the 27-point gap in the table says as much - but with this likely to be an intense affair, the Red Devils will be hoping to cause an upset and grab all three points.

Marcus Rashford is one of the players that Jurgen Klopp will have pinpointed as someone his team must look out for. So far this campaign, the 22-year-old has scored 19 goals in 30 games in all competitions. Unfortunately for United, he could be out of the clash due to injury - Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will no doubt be hoping that isn't the case.

The big fat Liverpool quiz of 2019 - how much do you remember about the last year at Anfield?

In the build-up to the game, there has been a debate as to whether Rashford would get into the Anfield outfit's starting XI. James Robson, the Manchester correspondent for The Evening Standard, has said he's the only player capable of breaking up Liverpool's front three.

This has not gone down well with the Liverpool fans, and they have taken to Twitter to slam the journalist.

Given that Liverpool's Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah have scored 38 goals between them, they haven't lost in the Premier League for over a year, and they had all three of their forwards included in the top 20 of the Ballon d'Or rankings, it does seem a tad fanciful.

With Robson saying that Rashford should play on the left, that would effectively mean Sadio Mane would need to drop out or move position. This is something the supporters vehemently disagree with.

Mane was recently crowned African Player of the Year and has 15 goals and 11 assists himself this term - without scoring any penalties. That says it all.

Others, meanwhile, have suggested that Rashford would struggle to even make the bench.

Whilst you can understand the disbelief in regards to Robson's comments, this is a little much. Rashford has proven himself to be one of the better attackers in the division this term, and he is just 22. He has a bright future ahead of him - one day, this claim may not be too surprising.

Meanwhile, Liverpool's transfer plans are revealed by David Maddock.
