It has been a rather astonishing season for Liverpool this term.

The Reds continue to break records - the 22-point margin they have at the top of the Premier League is the biggest in the history of English football's top tier, for example - and they are still unbeaten after 25 games. Now, it is a matter of when, not if, they will win their first title in 30 years.

No clues: Can you name the season these iconic Liverpool images belong to?

Jurgen Klopp, of course, deserves plenty of credit for what he has done with this team, and you would think that, bearing in mind he has already won Manager of the Month five times this season - the most in a single campaign - he is the clear favourite to win the award at the end of the year as well.

Sky Sports, though, don't believe it is as clear cut as that. Judging by the vote they shared on their Twitter page on Tuesday, they see Chris Wilder as a viable rival to the 52-year-old.

The Empire of the Kop decided to share this one their own page, asking why Klopp is not an awful lot further ahead. That post has seen many responses.

Many believe this shows how much other fans are against them.

It seems a little bit of paranoia is setting in here. And at the end of the day, it is just a social media pole - it doesn't really mean anything.

Others, meanwhile, have taken a more objective view.

Wilder has done a stunning job at Sheffield United this season. They have excelled following their promotion to the Premier League and currently lie in fifth place, just two points behind Chelsea in the final Champions League qualification spot. If he were to claim the trophy at the end of the year, it would be understandable, if slightly unfair on Klopp.

Elsewhere, Liverpool fans react to Bernardo Silva's comments on their Premier League domination.
