Liverpool could only come away from the Montgomery Waters Meadow with a 2-2 draw on Sunday. The Reds were 2-0 up, and appeared to be coasting to victory with around 30 minutes left. However, a late brace from Jason Cummings means that they will now have to play a replay against Shrewsbury on February 4th.This game saw the return of both Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren. They have both spent a considerable amount of time on the sidelines, but Jurgen Klopp decided to start both of them against their League One opponents at the heart of the defence.

Call yourself a Liverpool expert? How much did each of these big-money January signings cost?

At first, plenty of supporters were happy to see them included in the side.

This could be a monumental season for the Reds. They have the Premier League all but sewn up - they currently lead by no less than 16 points at the top of the table - and they are still in the Champions League and the FA Cup as well. They will need all the bodies they can get as they push for glory.

However, the duo's displays were far from positive. Lovren picked up a SofaScore rating of 6.5, whilst Matip did even worse with 6.4, and both were partly to blame for Shrewsbury's equaliser.

Towards the end of the match, the comments on their partnership were rather negative.

Given that Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez has kept six clean sheets in their last seven games at centre-back in the top flight, it is unlikely that Matip and Lovren will be called upon in the very near future. Still, Klopp, will be hoping that they improve drastically as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Liverpool fans slam Jurgen Klopp's F.A Cup decision.
