According to the results of our recent poll, the majority of Liverpool fans would support a January move for young Norwich right-back Max Aarons to provide defensive cover during the race for the Premier League title.

Jurgen Klopp's lack of defensive options has been exposed in recent weeks thanks to a number of high-profile injuries. Luckily for the Reds, Trent Alexander-Arnold has returned from a foot injury but given Nathaniel Clyne's lack of fitness the league leaders are still short at right-back.

Midfielder James Milner recently provided cover, but the club cannot rely on players playing out of position if they want to end that long hunt for a trophy.

FFC's James Jones has identified the one thing that could cost Liverpool the title. Find out what it is in the video below...

The Mirror have recently reported that both Tottenham and Arsenal are keen on 18-year-old Aarons, but 60 per cent of those Liverpool fans that answered our poll wanted their club to rival the North London sides for his signature.

An England U19 international, Aarons has been hugely impressive during this campaign after breaking into the Canaries' first team. Check out the full results of our poll below.
