It seems as though Liverpool are experiencing somewhat of an injury crisis heading into Saturday’s Premier League match against Huddersfield Town.

During the international break, Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Naby Keita and Sadio Mane have all suffered injury scares.

The extent of the problems are unknown and none of the players have been officially ruled out of this weekend’s fixture.

The fans will discover later on in the week if manager Jurgen Klopp will have to do some tweaking to his squad, but Mane, in particular is a big doubt.

The attacker broke a bone in his left hand during Senegal’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan last week.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Reds confirmed via their official website that Mane has undergone successful surgery.

Even though a broken hand does not directly affect Mane’s football ability, it may be the case that he will be forced to sit out of Saturday’s encounter.

If so, the obvious options to replace him are Xherdan Shaqiri and Daniel Sturridge, both of whom have had to settle for bit-part roles this season.

Klopp tends to play a 4-3-3, but due to the amount of injury concerns he may alter his approach for the Huddersfield match.

We asked you who should come in for Mane if the Senegal star is ruled out, and the overwhelming majority of fans believe that Xherdan Shaqiri should be called upon.
