Benfica’s Rodrigo is one of a handful of players who moved across to Portugal in recent years from Spain and found success. The 23-year-old has been a regular in the Lisbon side and has shown his qualities as a striker by being a feature in the Spanish U21 setup.
Rodrigo is quick, intelligent and would fit in perfectly in an attacking team like Liverpool. Brendan Rodgers will be in need of scoring additions next season with Champions League football set to weigh in on his side’s schedule. Adding quality young players has been a success in the past. Rodrigo would be a continuation of that model.
