Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to slam Neil Warnock, after the Cardiff boss called Mohamed Salah out for diving.

The Egyptian international went down under pressure from Sean Morrison in the latter stages of Liverpool's 2-0 win over Cardiff, as the Bluebirds centre-back had his hands all over the Reds forward.

Whilst the way in which Salah fell appeared slightly unnatural, there was more than enough grappling for it to be a penalty.

However, Warnock said: "I think the end of it was a 9.9 Tom Daley job. I don't think he could have got much higher off the diving board at the end of it."

Understandably, Liverpool fans aren't happy with the 70-year-old's comments, especially given the fact they seem harsh as Salah was being manhandled by Morrison for ages.

James Milner converted the resulting spot-kick to hand Jurgen Klopp a vital three points to put them back on top of the Premier League table above Manchester City, who face Manchester United on Wednesday in a must-win game.

For now, though, let's see what the Liverpool fans on Twitter have been saying about Warnock...
