Their records show that Henderson had made a whopping total of 1,232 passes in total, and is the only player in the whole league to surpass the one thousand mark, which puts him way ahead of the likes of N’golo Kante and Paul Pogba.
That news will come as music to the ears of Liverpool fans who have previously been critical of the England midfielder but have taken to him more and more since Jurgen Klopp arrived at the club.
Henderson is now flourishing under the German boss, and has become a key member of the Red’s midfield – even beginning to look like he could be the man to fill the void left by Steven Gerrard a couple of seasons ago.
The former Sunderland man’s transition to a slightly deeper role has been a revelation, but can he continue is rich vein of form tonight against Merseyside rivals Everton?
