The 20-year-old joined Liverpool in 2009, and was the reserve team’s top scorer in the 2011-12 season. The starlet is an imposing presence in the attacking third, with impressive technique and a good turn of pace. The forward, who is nearly 2metres tall, was involved in the Under-20s World Cup in 2011, and played in all 3 of England’s matches.
After impressing in Liverpool’s Under-21 matches, Scottish club Hearts signed the youngster on loan in January for the remainder of the season. Joining fellow Liverpool loanee Danny Wilson, Ngoo scored the equaliser on his Hearts debut in the Scottish Cup against Inverness, and converted his penalty when the match couldn’t be settled after extra time. Ngoo finished his loan spell with 5 goals to his name in all competitions, and looks ready to fight for a place in the first team next season.
