The Liverpool XI to beat Crystal Palace

It’s back to Premier League business this weekend and for Liverpool, they’re facing a trip to Crystal Palace.

They enjoyed more success in the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening, overcoming Spurs 2-1 at Anfield, with some youngsters given the chance to shine. And there were some seriously encouraging displays from certain individuals that will definitely give manager Jurgen Klopp food for thought ahead of the weekend.

It’s back to league action on Saturday and standing in Liverpool’s way are Crystal Palace, who haven’t started this season badly at all. They’re picking up points regularly and with Yohan Cabaye coming back to full fitness, they have every chance of a top-ten finish come the end of the campaign.

But naturally, we think Klopp’s exciting and punchy Liverpool side will be too much for the Eagles as they continue to battle for the Premier League title. That being said, the Reds have a history of disappointing results at Selhurst Park – so it’s imperative the Anfield gaffer chooses the right starting XI.
