Reminding Liverpool fans of what they’re missing this season is almost becoming a weekly exercise these days.
It took a while for Suarez to get himself settled at Barcelona, what with the bam to contend with and all that. But after failing to find the net in his first seven La Liga outings for the Catalan giants, he’s now netted twice in his last three games.
It appears he’s finally found his feet at his new home and is ready to start banging them in as regularly as he did for Liverpool last season.
While Mario Balotelli, Rickie Lambert and Fabio Borini fail to impress at Anfield, Suarez is over in Spain netting the kind of goals Liverpool are so desperate for this season.
Where would Liverpool be if the hadn’t sold the Uruguayan in the summer? I’d say in the top four at the very least. But we’ll never know…
