As we approach the January transfer window, speculation around the future of players is reaching fever pitch. For big clubs like Liverpool, that chatter is even more pronounced with the Reds often linked with stars from all around the world.

How about some closer to home, though? Is there value for Liverpool in the Premier League?

We reckon so and Jurgen Klopp likely doesn’t have to travel far to find some signings that can fit into his marauding, attacking system.

Stoke City are a team performing well in the Premier League right now. Under the guidance of Mark Hughes they look a safe bet to finish comfortably towards the top end of ‘midtable’.

They actually have a number of former Liverpool players in their ranks; Glen Johnson, Charlie Adam, Peter Crouch and Joe Allen. But what about in the other direction? Do any of their current first team squad have what it takes to play at Anfield?
